Ballintoy Harbour, used as the rugged Iron Islands, and the sweeping sands of Portstewart Strand, representing the exotic shores of Dorne, are directly accessible on this trail. Nearby, the striking cliffs of Larrybane served as Renly Baratheon’s camp. While journeying, you can also glimpse distant sites like Fair Head and Downhill Beach, which, although further afield, enhance the dramatic coastal views with their association to pivotal scenes from the series. The Causeway Coast Way is rated RELAXED to MODERATE and is appropriate for walkers with good fitness, comfortable walking 11-19km (7-12mi) per day with ascents up to 977m (2,931ft).

The St Patrick’s Way is rated MODERATE and is appropriate for walkers with good fitness, comfortable walking 12-25km (8-15mi) per day with ascents up to 550m (1,800ft).
