Travel in Ireland

Our walking tours are easily reachable by car, bus, train or plane.

Getting to Ireland and traveling within our borders is easy, especially with today’s technology. Ireland has three major airports: Dublin, Shannon and Cork. Cities are connected by Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) and smaller towns by several bus companies, including Bus Eireann and Expressway. Transportation for Ireland has an app that makes it easy to navigate the public transit systems. Some of our guests use Rome2Rio which shows you the best routes using all forms of transit (air, car, train, bus, ride-share, taxi), but you should always double-check transit sites directly for accurate times.

We provide you with detailed options (including bus and train routes) in your Information Pack.

Times listed below are approximations and can vary drastically depending on departure days and times. If you have questions about luggage transport or other questions regarding our walking tours, visit our FAQ page.
